Easy Grape Salad for Camping: A No-Sweat, No-Cook Side

This easy grape salad is a refreshing, no-cook side dish that's perfect for tent camping. Cream cheese and yogurt make a tangy dressing, while toasted pecans add crunch. It comes together in minutes and stays cold in a cooler.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups grapes mixed red and green seedless, washed and dried
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped, toasted
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a fork until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the grapes until every grape is coated in the dressing. Be careful not to crush them.
  4. Fold in the toasted pecans, reserving a few for the top if you like.
  5. Transfer to a serving or storage container. Refrigerate or keep in a cooler until ready to serve. Stir gently before serving.
